Funky Timers
Funky Timers is a Youtube channel I started as a side project to test creative ideas.
Software used: Cinema 4D, Redshift, X-Particles, After Effects, Red Giant Suite
In 2023 I wanted to explore the process of creating a Youtube channel and give myself the challenge of regularly uploading videos to keep the creative juices flowing and sharpen up my animation skills.
I try and upload a new video every two weeks, as I find setting myself deadlines a great motivator in completing projects and keeping to a regular upload schedule.
Although timers are a little niche, I enjoy the challenge of creating different themed countdowns and have learned different techniques that I have carried over into my commercial work.
The channel is still growing steadily and I am still enjoying coming up with ideas that push me technically and creatively.
